Laugh Maroc mix of Humor & Music

After the overwhelming success of the first edition, Laugh Maroc returns this year to the heart of Amsterdam.

On December 25th, 2025, the iconic Paradiso Amsterdam will once again be filled with an evening of Moroccan humor, music, and culture.

The Amsterdam-based MC Rachid Larouz, known from the legendary TV show Raymann is Laat, will guide the audience through the evening with his signature energy and humor, ensuring a night full of top-quality entertainment.

Also shining on stage is Omar Ahaddaf, the Amsterdam stand-up comedian who gained national fame through his roles in Mocro Maffia (as Muis’ father) and the series Gouden Uur, and who won the Leiden Cabaret Festival in 2012. His sharp humor and unique style have made him a crowd favorite in the Dutch comedy scene.

In addition, the popular duo Hassan & Mohsien bring a generous dose of relatable, everyday humor — a perfect reflection of Moroccan-Amsterdam life, presented with their own distinctive twist.

From Rabat, Moroccan artist NAJM delivers a captivating blend of rap, raï, and electronic music. With poetic lyrics and a thoughtful visual identity, he creates a world that is as mysterious as it is emotionally charged. A self-taught artist, NAJM writes, composes, and produces everything himself. He chooses to keep his face largely hidden so that the focus remains entirely on the power and honesty of his music. His breakthrough came with the viral single “Rata”, shared by artists such as Manal, Stormy, and Ouenza.

Musical Premiere: Oualid Presents His New Album in Amsterdam

The musical highlight of the evening comes from Oualid, an Amsterdam-based Moroccan–Egyptian musician shaping the new sound of Arab youth culture. From his base in Amsterdam, Oualid has grown into one of the most streamed and visually distinctive voices of the new Arab generation.

With worldwide hits such as “Di Mochkila” (over 120 million streams), “Jini” (over 95 million streams), and “Ya Nari” (over 45 million streams), Oualid stands as a leading figure in the growing movement of cross-border Arab artists connecting North Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. His music blends emotional Arabic melodies with modern Afro-Arab rhythms and international pop and urban influences — a reflection of the vibrant energy of a globalized Arab youth.

During Laugh Maroc Amsterdam, Oualid will present his brand-new album live on the Paradiso stage, once again proving why he is considered one of the most promising artists of his generation.

Between comedy acts, DJ Mimi keeps the energy high with her mix of modern beats and Arabic grooves. The well-known Dutch DJ with Moroccan roots — nominated for the FunX Awards 2022 — has performed on major stages such as Tomorrowland and now brings her unique vibe to Amsterdam.
